Angus and the Stoor Worm
Angus and the Stoor Worm is an adaption and retelling by myself of the Orcadian folktale 'The Mester Stoor Worm'. The story follows Angus who works up the courage to be the brave hero who shall slay the Stoor Worm that threatens the kingdom.

I wanted to set a limited colour palette for the book, to reflect it's folktale background, this also enabled me to be more creative with how I would use the colours which in places gives an almost dreamlike effect. To further implement the Celtic history, I wanted to include Celtic symbols, referencing stone carvings from the Middle Ages of Scotland.
